I have great interest in using molecular and quantitative genetic approaches to elucidate genetic variation in taste responses among mouse strains and to identify genes controlling taste and taste-related behaviors. My goal is to explain the relationship between taste-related behavior, nutrition and health, and to understand the underlying genetic, metabolic and behavioral mechanisms.
