Why
Support Monell’s
Research?
The research
environment at Monell—the freedom granted
to its scientists, the resources available, the caliber and creativity
of its members, and its multidisciplinary approach—has
produced impressive scientific results over the past four decades.
The contributions made by Monell scientists, both past and present,
have advanced the field of chemosensory research and made the
Center the world leader in this field.
To continue its commitment to excellence, Monell depends on
funding from a variety of contributors: individuals, foundations,
corporations and government. These funds provide us with the
resources necessary to develop research projects that lead to
new discoveries and scientific advancements.
As government funding for basic research continues to decrease,
support from individual donors is more critical than ever. With
your support, Monell carries on its mission of conducting basic
research that provides the foundation for understanding and improving
public health and quality of life.
Monell is ranked a four star charity by Charity Navigator:
