“I am now finishing up my PhD in neuroscience at the University of California San Francisco. In the lab, I study the genetic and neural basis of social behaviors, an interest I developed while I was an MSAP student in Paul Breslin’s lab.
MSAP inspired me to produce a science podcast – Carry the One Radio – that makes research understandable to a wide audience. Most recently, my fellow grad students and I won a national science communication contest for our video on the need to fund fundamental research.”
