Sensory Branding Forum
The strategic use of visual, auditory, taste, smell and tactile sensory cues in branding products and services is widespread. Despite the popularity of sensory branding, there is often little understanding of why and how our five senses serve to amplify and communicate the brand promise, enhance brand recognition and recall, and influence consumer perception.
A one-day meeting, to be held October 29, 2010 in Philadelphia, will bring together academic experts whose research encompasses an investigation of sensory influences on branding along with experts from several companies with marketplace experience utilizing the senses in marketing strategy.
