The Monell Connection

Click HERE to see the latest issue of The Monell Connection, Monell's educational newsletter, in Adobe Acrobat format. Published in the spring and fall of each year, The Monell Connection informs the public of advances in our understanding of taste, smell, and chemosensory irritation. Each issue features a lead article that explores an area of research or topic related to the chemical senses; a profile of a Monell scientist and his or her research; and, an editorial (perspective) written by Monell's Director, Dr. Gary Beauchamp, or a guest columnist.

The following back issues are available in PDF format. Due to technical difficulties, some of the earlier issues may be missing headlines, graphic elements, and/or attributions. In particular, the Perspective columns in the Fall 1995, Fall 1996, and Fall 1997 issues were all authored by Dr. Beauchamp.
