Healthy, Female Volunteers Needed for Paid Research Study

• We are seeking paid volunteers for a study that examines the effects of an FDA-approved medication on insulin and glucose levels in healthy females.
• You will be reimbursed for your participation.
• You may qualify if you are: – Female, – Age 18-40, – Normal Weight, – Currently taking daily hormonal contraceptives, – No other prescription medications except birth control.
• Study involves 2 outpatient visits and 1 inpatient stay of 12 days at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
• Study also requires taking an FDA-approved medication for 9 days and two MRS exams (MRI on the liver).
