Monell scientists serve as enthusiastic mentors for the apprentices and the strong relationships they develop with students frequently continue throughout high school, into college and beyond.

Included are specialists in nutrition, biochemistry, analytical-organic chemistry, organic mass spectrometry, psychology, immunology, zoology, neurophysiology, molecular biology, endocrinology, ethology and ecology.

Virtually all of the Center's scientists collaborate with colleagues with different primary specialties. Thus, the students will gain first-hand experience with the unity of science and the importance of multi disciplinary approaches in solving research problems.
